Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the inaugural VetCon miniature gaming convention. There are a number of reasons why I am hosting this convention. One is to bring back the old days of some great conventions like ViciCon - to have a convention by miniature gamers, for miniature gamers.

I want to host a convention where the costs will not be a contributing factor, hence, this convention is completely free other than the costs of lodging and meals. Finally, the main reason is to get together with friends, friends that I have been gaming with for 40+ years. As the saying goes, "If you build it, they will come" and come, I hope you do.

Although I made this a miniatures convention, and it is primarily a historical gaming convention, please don't think you cannot host a sci-fi or fantasy-based game.

I hope this is a huge success and will lead to further conventions down the line.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and having some fun.

Dave

Vet-Con 2022 Time & Date

Time and Dates

With Veterans Day being held on Friday the 11th of November, the convention will run as follows -

Thursday from 5 pm - when we're done.
Friday - 9 AM - when we're done.
Saturday 9 AM - when we're done.

These times are contingent on how many games we have going and at what times. I will adjust the times as the Schedule of Events comes together.

I am reserving Sunday for a travel day so no gaming will take place that day allowing for late-night gaming on Saturday and hopefully a leisurely drive home for attendees.

Games will be listed as they are scheduled on the Schedule of Events page. I reserve the right to make adjustments as necessary for a balanced schedule. I will notify you prior to making any changes to the schedule with the GM. Remember to keep checking this site for updates.

Convention rooms:

There are three convention rooms, the Sierra, the Auburn Terrace, and the Coloma Boardroom.
The Sierra is the largest with the Coloma room being utilized for a large single special event.
